2. Information We Collect

Website contact form: Name, phone number, email address, business type, and any information you include in the message field.

AI chatbot interactions: Contact information you voluntarily provide, conversation content, service type and urgency as classified by the system, and general location such as zip code and city.

Missed call text-back: Caller phone number, call timestamp, and content of any subsequent SMS conversation. By placing an inbound call to an Ore Ridge client business, the caller provides implied consent to receive a single transactional SMS response to that unanswered call. Prior to receiving a text, callers are informed via the client business's voicemail greeting that an automated follow-up SMS will be sent if their call goes unanswered. Additionally, client business websites display a visible notice informing visitors they may call or text the business directly and that unanswered calls will receive an automated SMS follow-up.

SMS messaging disclosures: Mobile phone numbers collected through our missed call text-back system are never shared with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes. Message frequency varies based on customer-initiated contact — typically one message per missed call. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP, QUIT, END, CANCEL, REVOKE, or UNSUBSCRIBE to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for assistance.

Technical data: Non-personal information such as browser type, device type, and general geographic region collected automatically when you visit our website.

We do not collect payment information, Social Security numbers, or sensitive personal data through this website.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to respond to inquiries, provide requested services, route service requests to the appropriate client business, deliver lead notifications to client business owners, improve AI system performance, and contribute to aggregated anonymized research as described in Section 5.

We will never sell your personally identifiable information to advertisers or share it with third parties for their own promotional purposes without your explicit consent.

4. Third-Party Processors

Personal data may be processed by the following third-party services solely to deliver our services: Formspree (contact form processing), Voiceflow (chatbot deployment), OpenAI (AI language model), Twilio (SMS delivery), Make.com (automated data routing), OpenWeatherMap (real-time weather data), and Google (data logging and storage). We do not authorize any processor to use your personal data for their own commercial purposes.

5. Data Aggregation, Research, and Potential Licensing

Conversation data collected through Ore Ridge-deployed systems contributes to an anonymized dataset used to identify service demand patterns in the DFW market. No personally identifiable information is included in or derivable from this dataset. Ore Ridge may license or sell rights to this aggregated, anonymized dataset or derived insights to third parties. Individually identifiable information is never sold or licensed. Any third party to whom Ore Ridge licenses aggregated data is contractually prohibited from attempting to re-identify any individual consumer or client business. If Ore Ridge's client base in a given geographic area is too small to achieve meaningful anonymization, that data will not be included in any externally licensed dataset without prior written consent.

To opt out of having your anonymized interaction data included in Ore Ridge's research dataset, contact ben@oreridge.com. Opting out does not affect service delivery.

5b. Data Controller and Processor Roles

For data collected through client-deployed systems, the client business is the data controller and Ore Ridge acts as a data processor, processing personal data only as necessary to deliver the services described in this policy and in the applicable service agreement. Ore Ridge does not use client customer data for its own commercial purposes beyond the aggregated, anonymized research described in Section 5.

6. Data Retention

Website contact form submissions are retained as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose of collection or as required by law. Chatbot and SMS conversation logs are retained for the duration of the applicable client service agreement plus 90 days. Aggregated, anonymized research data may be retained indefinitely. To request deletion of your personally identifiable information, contact ben@oreridge.com. We will respond within 30 days.

7. Data Security

We use SSL encryption and industry-standard security measures to protect your information. No method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. You provide information to us at your own risk. In the event of a security breach involving your personal data, Ore Ridge will notify affected parties without unreasonable delay and in any event within 72 hours of discovery.

8. Cookies and Tracking

Our website does not currently use tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or third-party analytics tools. If we implement tracking tools in the future, this policy will be updated prior to implementation.

9. Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites.

10. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personally identifiable information; opt out of research data aggregation; and opt out of future communications. Contact ben@oreridge.com to exercise any of these rights. We will respond within 30 days. To opt out of SMS communications, reply STOP, QUIT, END, CANCEL, REVOKE, or UNSUBSCRIBE to any text message.

11. Children's Privacy

Our website and services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. Contact us immediately if you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child.

12. Texas Residents — TDPSA

Texas residents have rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA), including the right to access, correct, delete, and obtain a portable copy of your personal data, and to opt out of its sale or use for targeted advertising. Ore Ridge collects only data reasonably necessary for the services described here. We do not sell personally identifiable information. Aggregated, anonymized data that cannot identify any individual is not personal data under TDPSA and may be used and licensed as described in Section 5. 13. AI Services Disclosure

Ore Ridge deploys AI-powered chatbot and automated SMS systems on behalf of its clients. As a matter of policy and best practice, every Ore Ridge-deployed chatbot discloses its AI nature in its first message to any user. While the mandatory disclosure requirements of the Texas Responsible AI Governance Act (TRAIGA, Tex. Bus. & Com. Code, Chs. 551–552), effective January 1, 2026, currently apply to governmental entities and healthcare providers, Ore Ridge voluntarily adopts this standard for all deployments. No Ore Ridge system is permitted to impersonate a human or conceal AI involvement.

We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of our website or services following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
